Architecture College In India through NATA Scores
Architecture, a creative branch is a means to offer or render professional services in connection with the planning and design of a building, or group of buildings and the space within for the user keeping in mind the environmental, cultural & social aspects. The Five year Bachelor of Architecture course is India is governed by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is India’s biggest architecture entrance exam. The Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi, conducts NATA twice a year, at a national level. The score of NATA can be used for admission in the current session only. NATA score accepting institutes grant admission in 5 year B.Arch courses. A candidate in 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate and in PCM can apply for admission via NATA. Other than this, 10+3 diploma candidates with maths and 50% aggregate marks are also eligible.

As per the Council of Architecture, it is mandatory to qualify NATA examination to get admission in State Governments Architecture Universities/ Institutes such as JJ School of Architecture Mumbai, and Privately owned Architecture Universities/ Institutes such as CEPT Ahmedabad and others. ​

Council of Architecture (COA) clearly states that without qualifying mandatory NATA examination, admission to 5 years B.Architecture Program is not possible at any stage. Aspirants needs to qualify NATA examination by securing minimum marks in NATA.

Institutes accepting NATA score have their own admission process. Unlike IIT JEE Mains Paper 2, there is no centralized admission process through NATA. After qualifying NATA examinations, you need to apply separately in each desired University or Institute through their respective admission process, which can be easily found on their website.
